Curriculum

Academic Studies

We follow a curriculum that ensures breadth of experience in the first few years of secondary education and leads to depth in the A Level years. We promote moral, mental, cultural, spiritual and physical development. By specialising in subjects at A level that leading universities value most highly our students have a wide choice of possibilities at Higher Education. As a guide, in recent years, nearly 90% of leavers obtained places at their first choice university, 40% of which were at a UK Top Ten and 20% at a World Top Ten university.

Lessons take place Monday - Friday only. Activities take place during the school day or in the evenings and at weekends. Some sports fixtures take place at the weekends and students who are selected for school teams are expected to be available.
