PTA News

The Wine and Wisdom evening was a huge success with all attendees having a great time and helping to raise a bit of money for the school.

With good food, great wine and excellent company it was an evening of debate and the winning table was table 8, made up of Prep School teachers including Mary Willetts, Caro Sparks and Sue Yeates with their team of governors.

Final sums haven't yet come in but will be posted soon. A huge thank you should go to Jane Brentnall who organised the evening.

Ashford School PTA holds a variety of events throughout the year including Gymkhanas, Wine and Wisdom evenings, the annual Spring Ball and the Christmas Fayre.

ASHFORD SCHOOL 2010 ICE BALL
7.30pm, AFPS, Great Chart
Tickets are now on sale for the 2010 Ashford School Ball to be held at Ashford Friars Prep School, Great Chart. Champagne reception at 7.30pm, 3 course dinner served at 8.30pm, Charity Auction, live band & dancing. Carriages at 12.30am. Dress: Black Tie. Tickets will only be reserved with full payment.
Tickets: £60 each and you can book a table of 10 on request.

Second-hand Uniform Shop

Unfortunately the second hand uniform shop for Prep and Pre-Prep is not yet in position at the Prep School at Great Chart, to be run by PTA volunteers to help pass on your unwanted items, but is still at the senior school at East Hill. We anticipate the shop opening in the new year but please keep sending clean uniform sealed in a plastic bag with clear instructions as to who payment should be provided to after sale by delivering to reception at the Prep School. A small percentage of profit will be retained by the PTA to help with fundraising for the school.

The second hand uniform shop for the senior school will remain on the East Hill site - contact Ruth Pender, 01233 625171.

PTA 100 Club 

Each member of the Club is entered into a draw at the start of each month and 50% of all payments are awarded as prizes! Prize draws take place on the second Monday of the month following payments. Everyone is welcome to join the 100 Club for a minimal cost and you can download the standing order mandate form below.

Over the past 10 years, the Ashford School PTA 100 Club has raised over £45,000 to help provide a variety of equipment for the School including: playground equipment, new stage curtains, Annie dolls for life-saving training and many more items for the benefit of students throughout the school.

There has also been almost £45,000 in prizes given away so to join the PTA 100 Club today and help the PTA raise money and stand an excellend chance of winning a sizeable sum, contact:
