Visting the School

We welcome visits throughout the year. You can come with or without your child, have a tour and meet with staff. If you are interested in your child boarding you will also tour the boarding facilities and meet some of the boarding staff.

Visits to Bridge House Pre-Nursery and the Prep School (Nursery - Year 6) are arranged on an individual basis at a time covenient to you.

You are invited to look at the Senior School (Year 7 - Year 13) during one of our Open House days. These events are for small groups of parents and children to see the school on an normal working day, to meet some pupils and staff and to hear from the Head. They can be followed up later by a taster day.

• Saturday 16 Ocotober:(flexi, weekly and full boarding only)
• Thursday 4 November: 0900-1130
• Tuesday 16 November: 0900-1130
• Thursday 2 December: 0900-1130

As part of our admissions procedure we are delighted to offer pupils the opportunity to experience a Taster Day. Your child will be paired with a 'buddy' for the day and will follow the buddy's timetable thereby experiencing the same lessons and activities. We find these taster days are a very positive experience and give children a real insight into life as a pupil at Ashford School or Ashford Friars Prep School.
