Second-hand Uniform

A second-hand uniform shop is situated in the Senior School. Parents are invited to bring any items of uniform they wish to sell to the Senior School reception.  Parents are able to sell or purchase uniform for pupils in the Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior Schools. The shop is open from 1pm - 4.30pm on most Tuesdays or by appointment with Mrs Ruth Pender on 01233 625171 extension 242. 

Sports Kit - Baselayers

Ashford School Sports Department have partnered up with a new company called PlayerLayer Ltd. who produce baselayer garments as used by international athletes across the world. A PlayerLayer is an under layer garment that pupils can wear underneath their current sports kit during games. The primary function being that it will keep pupils warm in cold conditions increasing sporting enjoyment and overall experience. The technology of the garment wicks moisture away from the skin and regulates the body temperature reducing the risk of injury. The baselayer also protects the skin against the cold, helps improve performance and recovery and has an anti-bacterial coating preventing odour.

Please note that there is no obligation to purchase or wear one of these garments but we do know that many children (particular the seniors) do like to wear them. If pupils are intending to wear a baselayer then they would be expected to wear the Ashford School PlayerLayer.
