We are pleased to accept applications for weekly and full boarding places for boys and girls aged from 10 to 18 years. Flexi boarding is possible if there are beds available in the Houses.

Boarding is organised in three Houses, each led by a resident Housemaster/mistress and a team of resident tutors.

• Brooke House: for junior boys and girls aged 10-13; up to 30 places (see our picture gallery of the taster weekend)
• Alfred House: for senior boys aged 14-18; up to 60 places
• Brabourne House: for senior girls aged 14-18; up to 60 places

Every boarder with parents resident outside the EU must appoint a guardian, living within 3 hours of the school. This person is responsible for overseeing travel and holiday arrangements, looking after the pupil if they cannot be at School and taking an interest in the pupil's progress. The guardian must be at least 25 years old and not in full time education. We can provide you with a list of guardians but we do not receommend any particular agency or individual. Further information on Ashford School's policy on Guardianship is attached.

Capability in English

All students whose native language is not English must have achieved a minimum level of proficiency in English. Please consult the attached information sheet.
