We are pleased to accept applications for weekly and full boarding places for boys and girls aged from 10 to 18 years. Click here for general information on Boarding at Ashford School.
Every boarder whose parents are resident outside the EU must appoint a guardian, living within reasonable reach of Ashford (normally within 3 hours journey).
This person is responsible for overseeing travelling and holiday arrangements, looking after the pupil in certain circumstances and more generally to take an interest in the pupil's progress and to be available for consultation on any matters which may arise.
The guardian must be at least 25 years old and not in full time education. We would normally expect to meet the guardian before the boarder starts at the school.
If you would like your son or daughter to board at Ashford but you do not have anyone that can act as a guardian, contact details of guardian agencies can be provided by contacting the registrar or by searching online. Further information on Ashford School's policy on Guardianship can be found by clicking here.
Capability in English
From September 2009, all students whose native language is not English and who wish to take up a place at Ashford School will have to have achieved a minimum level of proficiency in English. Please click here for more information or email the registrar.
