Baby Unit
Ducklings & Dragonflies Rooms
These rooms cater for children under the age of two years. We plan carefully for each individual child so that they learn through their own natural curiosity. All equipment and activities are chosen to ensure development in all key areas in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage. The unit consists of four linked areas which include a room for the pre-mobile babies, another room for the mobile babies, a separate eating and craft area, and a sleep room.
All children are allocated a key-person when joining the nursery that will be responsible for the wellbeing, physical care and development of your child.
Toddler Unit
Frogs & Turtles Rooms
Cater for children over two years. The unit comprises of two large rooms linked by a corridor. Each of the rooms are equipped with a variety of areas with activities such as craft, block play, quiet reflective time, touch screen computers, mark making and small world. Once again all children have a designated key person.
The key person will maintain the child's journey through nursery book, which will be available to view at all times. Also, in order to provide up to date information a contact book will be completed after each session to inform you of your child's time at nursery. This will include their physical day such as eating and toileting, and also their well being and activities they have enjoyed throughout the session.
All of the rooms have access to the garden and school grounds.
