Ashford School is a 5 minute walk from Ashford International Station, providing easy access to SouthEastern rail services (trains to Hastings, Rye, Sturry, Canterbury, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Kings Hill, Dover and Folkstone) and Eurostar services (trains to Paris, Lyon, Brussels, Amsterdam, Cologne and Frankfurt).

We are 37 minutes from London (Kings Cross/St Pancras) via the High Speed 1 rail link with alternative access via Victoria, Charing Cross, London Bridge and Waterloo East.

By Plane

Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and City airports are 60-90 minutes away by car.

By Bus

We operate buses to and from Ashford School from Folkestone, Sittingbourne, Faversham, Rye, Tenterden and Biddenden with a selection of stops along the way. We also operate shuttle buses between the Senior School site and the Prep School site.

Our buses are operated by trained staff who monitor behaviour and work closely with the school’s Estates Department. The shuttle buses are supervised by an additional staff member with the exception of the shuttle at 5.30pm.

Folkestone Bus Route:

Rye/Tenterden Bus Route:
Rye > Wittersham - Budds Lane > Small Hythe > Tenterden Town Hall > Tenterden Turners Ave > Homewood > St Michaels - The Crown > London Beach > Great Chart > Ashford School

The shuttle bus between East Hill and Great Chart is a free service. Charges are added to school bills termly in advance and a term's notice must be given of changes in use.
