Ashford Senior School is a 5 minute walk from Ashford International Station, providing easy access to SouthEastern rail services (trains to Hastings, Rye, Sturry, Canterbury, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Kings Hill, Dover and Folkstone) and Eurostar services (trains to Paris, Lyon, Brussels, Amsterdam, Cologne and Frankfurt).

We are 35 minutes from London (Kings cross/St Pancras) via the High Speed 1 rail link with direct access to Victoria, Charing Cross, London Bridge and Waterloo East.

By Plane

Ashford School benefits from close proximity to junctions 9 and 10 of the local M20 motorway network and easy links to the main London airports; around 90 minutes from London Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and City airports.

By Bus

Ashford School operates four bus routes to and from Ashford School (East Hill) from Folkestone, Sittingbourne, Faversham, Rye, Tenterden and Biddenden with a selection of stops along the way. We also operate shuttle buses between the Senior School site at East Hill and the Prep School site at Great Chart. These routes are monitored regularly to ensure their effectiveness and we constantly review and consider new routes as demand grows. 

Our buses are operated by fully trained staff who monitor behaviour and work closely with the school’s Estates Department. The shuttle buses are all supervised by an additional staff member apart from the final bus from Ashford to Great Chart at 5.30pm. All afternoon buses are supervised.

Folkestone Bus Route:

Rye/Tenterden Bus Route:

The shuttle bus between East Hill and Great Chart is a free service. Charges are added to school bills termly in advance. Sibling discounts apply as follows:
 
2nd child – 10% discount
3rd child – 15% discount
4th child – 20% discount
