Cartoons for Charity

Pupils from across the school have today been taking part in the Pilgrims House fancy dress non-uniform day to raise money for Leukaemia Research Fund.

With last year's theme of superheroes, the pressure was on for out-doing older costumes and the large and ever popular non-uniform day with a difference was this year based around the theme of cartoon characters.

Outfits included Spongebob Squarepants, Darth Vader, Shaggy, Poison Ivy, Bugs Bunny and Minnie Mouse and a great day was had by all raising money for the worthy cause.

Leukaemia Research is the only charity in the UK dedicated exclusively to researching blood cancers and disorders including leukaemia, Hodgkin’s and other lymphomas, and myeloma.
