Now 36 minutes from London

Ashford School is now only 36 minutes from north London. The high speed commuter train started running today on a preview service which covers the morning and evening peaks. Full service starts in December this year.

The high speed trains tavel on the same tracks as Eurostar and will stop at Ebbsfleet and Stratford. They will also travel onwards to Canterbury and Folkstone but this part of the journey will be on conventional track so will not be at 140mph.

This high speed communter service is aleady the cause of increased interest in places at Ashford School as Londoners take advantage of the improved lifestyle in Kent.
