Back on the Track

After breaking his toe before Christmas, Max Nicholls is back on the track along with older sister Grace and younger brother Euan.

After the Kent Championships and Kent Schools Championships being postponed, the team of distance runners got the chance for a competitive outing and it came in the form of the second biggest club event of the winter season - the South of England Cross Country Championships at Parliament Hill Fields.

Running in the Under 15 boys Tonbridge squad, the first race of the day had a dusting of snow still evident and temperatures around zero. Happy to be running again, Max gained a respectable 23rd position and helped his team win the silver medal.

Following this great start, Euan helped secure the Under 13 boys team trophy after an excellent run and not to be outdone, Grace took the individual bronze medal, and along with her teamates was awarded the Under 20 womens trophy.
