The International High School Arts Festival is an annual exhibition of works of art from around the world submitted in competition from students and sponsored by the Japanese Ambassador in the UK. Two A level art students at Ashford School have been selected to submit works for the exhibition in August at the premier Art Museum in Japan, the Ueno Royal Museum.
Michael Weland will exhibit his "Skull in Reflection" and Jenny Nelson will exhibit her "Nelson" painting. Both exemplfy the individuality and quality of art and design at the school and are a tremendous achievement for the artists and their teachers.
Photos of the works will appear here shortly.
