Top 20

The students of Ashford School have once again excelled in their A levels with record results and large numbers of the new A* grade. After two years of hard work the students and their teachers can be proud and thankful.

The initial results for the Class of 2010 include:

  • 90% have achieved what they need for higher education
  • 24% of all papers graded A* (compared to national average of 8%)
  • 57% of all papers graded A*/A
  • 80% of all papers graded A*-B (record)
  • the number of UCAS points gained per student is 406, the equivalent of more than A*,A, A
  • three students achieved five A*/A grades
  • 40% of all students achieved at least three A grades
  • 55% of all students achieved at least two A grades
  • 83% of all students achieved at least one A grade

According to data published in the Times and Daily Mail Online, Ashford School is ranked within the top 60 independent schools in England, within the top 20 coeducational, boarding schools, by %A*s.
