Ashford School Joins Forces With London Irish

Ashford School has been accepted as an affiliated school of the famous and very successful London Irish Rugby Club. This is a great opportunity for Ashford school and Ashford Friars prep school to take advantage of the training that London Irish Rugby team experience and enables more children to get involved with rugby and support a premiership rugby team right throughout the season.

The 7^th October was our first session with one of the coaches. It was a perfect day for rugby, fresh air and clear blue sky. The boys thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the training and onlookers were very impressed by the effort and skill demonstrated.

A group of our boys ranging from year 7-12 have been invited to go and watch London Irish take on the mighty Munster. This range highlights the enthusiasm for the sport right throughout the school and the members of the sports department are delighted to introduce the squads to such high level coaching at such a young age.

We are very excited to watch the progress of our squads having been given such a fantastic opportunity and we look forward to updating you with their progress.
