Let Them Eat Cake!

Ashford Friars Prep school has been working very hard to raise money for Macmillan cancer support. The whole school took part in a sponsored walk which raised over £3000. A cheque was presented to our Head Boy and Head Girl.

On Friday 8^th October AFPS held a coffee and cake afternoon and Mrs McArthur bought along a wide selection of beautiful cards, gifts, wrapping paper, ribbons and many more beautiful items to sell whilst everyone tucked into the delicious cakes, cupcakes and biscuits. The Coffee and Cakes afternoon raised over £150 and all proceeds will go to Macmillan. The money will make an important contribution to the excellent work the charity performs and we are very grateful to all those who sponsored the walkers and donated money  by buying goodies at the coffee and cake afternoon.
