The Holland Tour

This year the Ashford PE Department Holland tour was a boys Rugby tour and a girls Hockey tour. The itinerary was jam packed and by all accounts the tour was fantastically successful on the field and off! The boys started off with a narrow defeat but a strong team effort. The next encounter was a tournament. The boys again played with dedication and remarkable team spirit. They won both games against Nieuwiegen RC and Hampton School London and were crowned the tournament winners.

Off pitch activities and trips were great fun. A windy trip to the seaside was warmly welcomed by all. The visit to the clog museum was very interesting and some of the boys and girls bought home a pair as a souvenir!

The tour dinner was a great chance to congratulate everyone on a thoroughly enjoyable tour and to reward individuals for outstanding sporting performances.
