Family Fireworks At Ashford Friars

This year the Ashford School PTA fireworks returned to Great Chart. The prep School guy competition marked the start of a fantastic evening (The children dressed the guys as Boris Johnson, Simon Cowell and others!) . The knives and Fawkes were out for hot food. There was mulled wine, candy floss, glow sticks and a curry stall set up by the Ashford Ghurkhas. The Ghurkha charity is a cause that we are very keen to promote and support and we were delighted to have them at the event. Further details of the charity will follow.

The fireworks were a magnificent display and the evening was very successful. Many people commented on how great it was to have the fireworks back at the prep school and how wonderfully traditional the evening was. Many thanks must go to the PTA for all their organisation and preparation of such a fantastic event.
