Remembrance Day Service
On 11th November 2010, Ashford School conducted a Remembrance Service in the school hall / grounds. Reflecting on all victims of war, the school in particular remembered those from Kent that had lost their lives in Afghanistan. After the last post was sounded by Year 8 and Year 9 pupils, a 2 minute silence was held. On completion, cadets from the school placed a wreath on the cross. They were accompanied by house representatives from Year 7 and Year 13, who planted small wooden crosses. "We will remember them".
