Of our students who leave us at the end of this term 96% have at least one offer of a place for higher education in the UK - a total of 243 offers. This is an important week for our students because the deadline is looming for making their decisions over which offers to accept.
Meanwhile, the hard work continues as A Level examinations rapidly approach. Our pupils have had a range of offers, and many students need to achieve at least two As at A Level as the average grade offer is AAB.
"Good results are well within the reach of our Sixth Form students," explains Head of Careers Dr Marcus Allen whose role is dedicated to helping pupils map out the first steps in their future careers. "Our pupils are well-rounded and disciplined and our specialist sixth form team of staff is behind them all the way. Well done to all our students for the focus and motivation they have shown at this important point in their education."
Students will be going on to study a wide range of disciplines. Some hold places to study subjects such as Chemical Engineering at institutions such as Imperial, others have opted for the Classics or History at universities like Durham and Leeds. Some are hoping to follow more vocational careers such as Nursing, Fashion and Veterinary Science.
