Last term Abbi Willetts, Madeleine Cole and Georgina Acott made it through to the finals of the National Biathlon Championship after qualifying at the regional event by finishing in the top three.
So, with an entourage of parents and teachers, they travelled to the Midlands for a nerve-racking final on Saturday.
"We had to run 500 metres and swim 50 metres as quickly as we could," said 10-year-old Abbi Willetts who, individually, finished in the top six in the Regional Final qualifier.
"We had to put in the hours training and the competition was really strong, but coming fourth out of schools from across the country was brilliant!"
Abbi and Georgina are also celebrating new personal records in their runs, while Madeleine and Georgina achieved new personal records in their swims.
