Ashford riders take double honours

Ashford show jumping teams had another successful inter schools competition against The King's, Benenden, Highworth and the The North Schools at Rooting Street Stables. The junior team, made up of pupils from the Prep School, had an exciting first outing holding their own against six other teams. Our senior team was also made up of youngsters (+1). Ellie, Emily, Charlotte & Jessica all successfully completed clear rounds and won the team competition after an exciting jump off ridden by Jessica on her horse Monty. Jessica also won the individual competition coming in just a second ahead of the King's rider. It was a great performance by a very young squad of able riders up against much older competitors.
