Being the youngest competitor in a recent golf tournament was no problem for Oliver Gaisford, who has just snapped up the Captains Salver trophy at Tenterden Golf Club.
The Year 3 pupil, who is just eight-years-old, scored 43 points and has a handicap of 32.
"Golf is my favourite sport because I can beat my dad!" said Oliver, who one day wants to play professionally. "I just love playing - it is a friendly game."
