National Maths Award

The Good Schools Guide has announced its award winners for 2011 and Ashford School features again.

Each year the GSG gives awards to schools to celebrate teaching excellence in individual subjects. These are based on their WOW Factor calculations, a combination of performance of the students in public exams and the popularity of the subject at the individual school and compared with other schools nationally.

A Level Maths has been given this coveted Lucas trophy for the excellent teaching of Maths and the performance of students (specifically boys) at A level. Well done to Dr Childs and her excellent team of teachers.
