All the hard work has paid off for A Level students at Ashford School who have collectively achieved record results again this year.

Nearly 13% of places are at one of the world's top 10 universities and one third of places are at one of the UK's top 10 universities. In a year when competition for places has been intense these are fantastic achievements.

Four out of five of our students have gained a place at their first choice university with nearly three quarters gaining places at the UK's prestigious Russell Group or 1994 Group universities (Imperial, Warwick, Oxford, Cambridge, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, King's College, Leeds, Liverpool, LSE, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Queen's Belfast, Sheffield, Southampton, UCL, Bath, Birkbeck, Durham, UEA, Essex, Exeter, Goldsmith, IoE, Royal Holloway, Lancaster, Leicester, Loughborough, Queen Mary, Reading, St Andrew's, SOAS, Surrey, Sussex and York).

Over 20% of grades were at A*, with over 60% at A*/A and over 80% at A*-B and over 95% A*-C. Three students achieved five A*/As, 40% of students achieved at least three A*/As, nearly 70% achieved at least two A*/As and over 90% achieved at least one A*/A.

Ashford School is now ranked the top coeducational independent school for A Levels in Kent, one of the top twenty such schools in the UK and one of the top ten such boarding schools in the UK*.
