Year 11 students are celebrating a fine collection of results which will provide an excellent stepping stone to A-level study starting in early September.

Most of the students studied for nine or more GCSEs including Maths, English, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and at least one modern language.

• Nearly a quarter of all students achieved A*/A in nine or more subjects.
• Nearly half of all students achieved five or more A*/As
• Over half of all subjects were graded A*/A.
• Over 90% of students achieved the Government's benchmark of five GCSEs at A*-C including Maths and English
