Shakespeare in London

Three drama students spent at day at the BBC learning new acting techniques and mixing with professionals.

Maisie, Dan and Kara took part in the BBC Off by Heart Shakespeare auditions.

"We did lots of games like each person saying a line of a piece in a different way, such as saying it to frighten a person, to flatter them, to impress them or maybe belittle them," said Maisie. "I learnt a lot of techniques that I will definitely use in my future performances."

Some of the games involved shouting at a wall as loudly as possible and learning about the iambic pentameter.
