A new stained glass window is creating joy for deaf children thanks to a group of Ashford School students.
The artists were selected help design and create the window for the chapel at the Institute for the Deaf in Jordan, with the help of local artist Alexandra Le Rossignol.
They have just returned from a "life-changing" trip to the country where they took part in a special dedication service and many other special activities.
"This really was a superb opportunity for the group," said Head of Art, Mrs Bay Lees, who accompanied them on the trip.
"The window is an absolute joy to look at and it brings real beauty to the chapel. We had such a wonderful time in Jordan. It is a trip we shall never forget."
The group spent a night camping in the desert, they visited a beach resort and they helped teach in various art lessons.
