Breaking the 1000 pound barrier

Head of Maths, Dr Susan Childs, has raised a fantastic £1022.75 for Cancer Research UK.

She's been cycling from Tenterden to school every day for 39 days - covering a total of 1000 miles.

"I'd like to thank everyone for their support and encouragement - and a big thank you for the mildest autumn in 300 years for my cycling!" she said.

Dr Childs has been raising funds to support the school's Franklins House in their efforts to bring in cash for CRUK.
