Research takes us to London

Year 10 Design & Technology students are enjoying an insight into the professional world of a product designer today.

They've travelled to London for a special workshop at the V&A Museum. They will get the chance to research future projects as well as producing a design with inspiration from the 20th Century collection.

Head of D&T, Mr Adrian Barnett, explained: "These trips are essential part of the education at Ashford School. They go a long way in developing the students' knowledge of historical art and dsign as well extending their research, creativity, critical thinking and communication skills."
