In Pre-Prep we teach in a fun and engaging way using a variety of resources and strategies.
In order to enable children to gain as much as possible from their learning, we deliver our teaching using a small-steps approach, ensuring that all children make progress in every lesson. Wherever possible, we apply our Maths lessons to the topics being covered in the wider curriculum and link learning to real-life scenarios, using role play and word problems. The curriculum is taught through a range of fluency, problem-solving and reasoning tasks, covering a wide range of subject matter including number and place value and space, shape and measure.
