Wrap-Around Care

Ashford School provides Breakfast Club, After School Club and Holiday Club care for children who need wrap-around care. Our trained staff provide a range of indoor activities and children can play outside when the weather and time of year allow.

Breakfast Club

There are two Breakfast Club sites run by Ashford School. One is in the Nursery rooms of the new Great Chart building and the other is run by the Ashford School Pre-Nursery unit in 'First Steps' at East Hill. Children can be dropped off between 7:30 and 8:30am where they will be provided with a breakfast of cereal, toast and a drink. Children at East Hill are then taken across to the Great Chart site by shuttle bus.

After School Club

There is an After School Club held at Great Chart for children from Reception to Year 6 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm daily. Squash and biscuits are provided at 3:30pm with squash, biscuits and sandwiches provided at 4:45pm.

Children should be collected promptly from the After School Club room at 6:00pm. If a child is not collected by 6:00pm there will be a late charge to cover staffing costs.

Holiday Club

Holiday Club runs through all school holidays for 3-5 year olds from 9:00am to 5:00pm. There are extended times in the morning if needed from 8:00am to 9:00am and in the afternoon from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.

Packed lunch should be brought with each child but tea is provided by the club. Activities include lots of fun, arts, craft and cooking and lots more.
