About the School

Ashford Friars Prep School provides childcare and education for children from 3 months to 11 years. Bridge House Pre-Nursery (ages 3 months to 3 years) is located at Ashford and provides an outstanding foundation for boys and girls. Children are well prepared for the move to the Prep School at Great Chart which is for children aged 3-11 

The extensive and exciting new buildings are now all finished and they provide us with the perfect facilities to achieve our mission of enabling your child to become an outstanding life-long learner with the freedom to be creative, the enterprise to initiate and the resilience to cope with adversity. This is the perfect grounding for their next stage of education, life at Ashford Senior School, university and beyond! 

Building 18 new classrooms and expansive car parks, a new reception cafe, dining hall, kitchen facilities and theatre for pupils, there is also around 35 acres of land surrounding the school for playing fields and further beneficial sports facilities. Frequently we are asked "What makes Ashford special?" and our answer is always the same: the children and staff. The simplest way to explain why we are so proud of our school is to come and meet the people in it. Children are lively, eager, respectful and keen to do their best, developing the confidence and motivation to succeed and be happy and the staff at Ashford are at the forefront of this development.
