During August, Ashford School will be running a telephone campaign to further enhance our communications and develop relationships between Ashford School and its alumni community, and to fundraise on behalf of the Ashford School Foundation for their Bursary Fund.
A team of current students and recent leavers from the School will call our alumni to speak with them about recent School news, our upcoming ASA events, our developing programme of alumni-led careers talks and workshops, and to gather their thoughts on our events and publications.
Our callers will also update the community on the launch of our new campaign for the Ashford School Foundation’s Bursary Fund. The past few years have been difficult for so many families and our need to offer financial support through our bursary programme is greater than ever. Next academic year, the Ashford School Foundation Trustees have awarded an additional 6 bursaries to pupils across the School. As a School we are committed to making the opportunities at Ashford School available to as many able and talented pupils as possible – regardless of financial background. However, as we do not have an endowment fund, we are reliant on support from our whole School community. To read testimonials from past and present bursary recipients and their families, please visit our Bursary Fund page.
If every ASA member were to donate £20 per month for the next five years, with gift aid, this would generate almost £5.2 million for the Ashford School Foundation! That would go a long way to supporting talented pupils through the School. If you would like to donate to the Ashford School Foundation’s Bursary Fund, please visit our Support Us Page.
If you would like to find out more about our upcoming and/or past campaigns, please contact our Alumni & Development Manager Miss Hannah Pinney via email.
