Ashford Prep School helps fundraise for Brain Tumour Research
Sharing some incredible charity news that is very close to our heart here at Ashford Prep School. Mrs Williams, PA to Mr Tiley-Nunn has raised an incredible £19,260.25 for the Brain Tumour Research charity – £5,923.15 from the generosity of Ashford Prep School families via our annual Wear a Hat Day.
Mrs Williams sadly lost her beloved daughter Holly to a brain tumour in 2015 and has campaigned tirelessly ever since to raise awareness and money for the charity. Yesterday, Mrs Williams’ family were given the opportunity to tour Brain Tumour Research’s Centre of Excellence at Imperial College, London. The family placed seven tiles representative of the £2,740 it costs to fund each day of research on the centre’s Wall of Hope. We are all very proud of you Mrs Williams.
