Ashford School annouces the appointment of new Head of the Prep School
Ashford School is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Nick Tiley-Nunn as the new Head of Ashford Prep School from September 2020.
Mr Tiley-Nunn has been appointed following a rigorous recruitment process led by executive search firm Perrett Laver and which attracted a large number of very high calibre candidates from the independent, maintained and international education sectors.
Mr Tiley-Nunn joins Ashford from Norwich High School for Girls where he has served as Head of the Prep School and Nursery since 2016. He has had a significant impact on the development of teaching and learning and will bring wide-ranging strategic and people leadership experience to Ashford Prep School. Mr Tiley-Nunn is also an ISI Team Inspector, published author and regularly delivers tailored professional development and training to schools and educational professionals in a consulting capacity.
On his appointment, Mr Tiley-Nunn said: “It is a privilege to have the opportunity to lead such a vibrant and ambitious school. I truly believe that learning should be the ultimate adventure and it was this commitment to adventurous learning that first drew me to the School. I very much look forward to sharing many adventures with the wonderful pupils of Ashford Prep School and to meeting their parents, family and friends in due course.”
Mr Tiley-Nunn is at his happiest when outdoors; playing hockey and cricket, walking with his family or taking to the slopes as an enthusiastic skier. He cannot wait to make the most of the outdoor aspects of Ashford Prep School’s incredible site.
