Ashford School Announces New Swim Partnership

Ashford School is delighted to announce a new partnership with Dover Lifeguards Swim Club (DLGC). This collaboration marks an exciting step forward in enhancing the training, competitive opportunities and long-term development of our swimmers.

Through this partnership, Ashford School swimmers will benefit from access to DLGC’s Swim England affiliations, competitive pathways and expert coaching oversight, while continuing to train within the school’s high-quality facilities during term time. Pupils will compete under the DLGC name at Swim England-affiliated galas, with a jointly-supported competition structure ensuring all swimmers have clear pathways to progress.

We are also pleased to welcome DLGC Head Coach, Dan Cross, who will begin working formally with Ashford School to design training programmes, lead coaching sessions and collaborate closely with our excellent school-based coaching team.

Both organisations are committed to ensuring a positive experience for all swimmers and families. Ashford School and Dover Lifeguards Swim Club look forward to a successful and impactful collaboration that will support swimmers in achieving their full potential.
