National Cricket Champions to be Guard of Honour
Ashford School’s U15 National Champions in cricket have been accepted as the Guard of Honour for the Women’s One Day International at the Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence on Wednesday 21 September, for the England vs. India game.
After their success, the girls now have the privilege of welcoming the two international teams onto the pitch serving as Guard of Honour and singing the National Anthems. They will then be entertained by what surely will be a fantastic match and hope for some sound advice from the professionals to our future stars. It is an incredible experience for the Ashford School team, with many other young girls striving to be in their position.
We would like to thank Kent Cricket who have been fantastic in celebrating our success and helping our girls’ dreams come true.
