Outstanding Set of GCSE Results

Congratulations to our Year 11 students for their outstanding set of GCSE results this year. Results have improved significantly from pre-Covid levels, with 90% of grades  awarded between grade 9 and grade 5, and over half of the results graded 7 or higher. 

Assistant Head of Years 7-9, Mr John Curry commented: “This has been an exceptional year group on a whole host of levels. They have excelled throughout their time at Ashford in the range of opportunities on offer from sporting excellence through to magnificent musical and drama productions. They have managed to not only do this but also produce one of the best collections of GCSE results ever. Needless to say, we are all extremely proud of their achievements.” 

Headmaster, Mr Michael Hall, said, “Congratulations to our GCSE students on these excellent results, I am delighted that their hard work and dedication has paid off. We very much look forward to welcoming our students back in September, along with the arrival of a strong number of new pupils to our Sixth Form. These results provide a great platform to embark on Sixth Form life and beyond and we congratulate them wholeheartedly.”
