The Reading Challenge is a great way to discover new books and develop as a reader. It runs every year from September until the end of June.
How to take part:
-
Each time you finish reading a book for the Reading Challenge, log it with the Librarians.
-
When you have read five books, you obtain your Bronze Award.
-
Reading ten books unlocks the Silver Award.
-
Reading fifteen books achieves the Gold Award.
-
Read twenty books to win the Platinum Award.
Will you be one of our committed readers who reaches the coveted Diamond Award, reading thirty books?
Award winners will be announced during the Summer Term Awards Assembly in July.
You must choose books you have never read before, and don’t choose books which are easy. It’s not a competition to be the first to finish. It’s a chance for you to push yourself and expand your reading horizons.
