Alumni organising Rainbow Run in aid of East Kent Hospitals Charity

Alumni Ellie Rogers (nee Jennings, Knights, 1998) is organising a sponsored run in aid of East Kent Hospitals Charity COVID-19 “Helping Your Hospitals” appeal, where the money raised will be used to support the emotional and physical wellbeing of staff at the William Harvey, and other east Kent hospitals.

The event is being supported by MP Damian Green, NFU Mutual Canterbury Office & Canterbury Rugby Club.

The Rainbow Run will take place at 10am on 17 May 2020 and is open to all ages and abilities.

Due to current social distancing rules, the run should take place in your own garden or as part of your daily permitted exercise. You can choose your own distance – they suggest 2km for young children and 5 km+ for adults. Collectively the team would like to clock up 500km, so please let them know your distance. It’s up to you whether you walk, run, skip or jump. but you do need to make sure you’re wearing the colours of the rainbow! We hope you’ll join us on 17 May. Every kilometre counts!
