Applying for a place at the Prep School is a smooth process starting with a virtual visit.
1. Visit us virtually:
The first step to joining us at the Prep School is to visit us virtually.
Whilst we are unable to offer in-person tours, we can offer a meeting via Microsoft Teams. This video call will provide you with the opportunity to have a video tour around the Prep School, and to meet with our Head, Mr Tiley-Nunn.
Please contact our Prep Registrar Mrs Daisy Davidson to arrange a virtual visit.
2. Register for a place:
Once you have visited the Prep School, you will need to register your child for a place. This can be done by completing our registration form and paying our non-refundable £100 registration fee.
3. Online Assessments:
Once you have registered for a place, your child will be called for an informal virtual interview with the Head, Mr. Tiley-Nunn, and will also be required to sit online assessments in Reading/English and Maths. At this stage, we also request to see the child’s previous school reports.
A Microsoft Teams meeting can also be arranged with your child’s prospective Head of Year to alleviate any worries you may have, and to discuss your child settling in.
4. School reference request:
With your permission, a reference from your child’s current school is requested.
5. Accept the offer of a place:
If your child is offered a place, completion of the acceptance pack (which will be shared at the time of offer) and payment of a refundable deposit of £500 should be made in order to secure the place.
