By supplying my details and checking this box I agree to the Ashford School Association (ASA) storing my details in order to send me relevant communications that the ASA feels will be of interest to me.

Your personal information will be held on the database in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Security measures to protect your personal information and privacy are in place and will be used for Alumni and Development purposes. The only people who will see your data are Alumni & Development Office personnel and/or agents contracted by them. As a member of our alumni community, you will be able to update your details, or opt out of specific or all communication at any time with the Alumni & Development Office by writing to us at the School address (Ashford School, East Hill, Ashford, Kent, TN24 8PB).

The School and/or any relevant other organisation will use the contact details of alumni to keep them updated about the activities of The School, or alumni and parent events of interest, including by sending updates and newsletters, by email and by post. Unless the relevant individual objects. We will also: share personal data about parents and/or alumni, as appropriate, with organisations set up to help establish and maintain relationships with The School community; share personal data with academic, administrative and support departments at Ashford School to promote close links between the School and its former students, staff and parents; contact parents and/or alumni by post and email in order to promote and raise funds for The School and, where appropriate, other worthy causes; collect information from publicly available sources about parents' and former pupils' occupation and activities, in order to maximise The School's fundraising potential. Should you wish to limit or object to any such use, or would like further information about it, please contact The Bursar (Data Protection Controller) in writing. You always have the right to withdraw consent, where given, or otherwise object to direct marketing or fundraising. However, the ASA is nonetheless likely to retain some of your details (not least to ensure that no more communications are sent to that particular address, email or telephone number).
