Latest PFA News
The PFA AGM was held on 10 September.
Like all out meetings it was a relaxed evening with just a few formalities to be completed. It was also a great opportunity to meet other members of the School community (parents from other year groups and some of the staff) and get involved in our forthcoming activities.
We also voted on funding requests from the School for new equipment and interesting new initiatives.

- Years R – 4 School Disco, Friday 14 November 2025 (2 sessions R-2 after school & 3-4 after enrichments)
- Years 5 – 6 School Disco, Friday 21 November 2025 (straight after School enrichments)
- PFA Christmas Fair, Saturday 29 November 2025. 12.00 – 16.00
- Christmas Wreath Making Evening, Thursday 4 December 2025, 19.00 – 21.00

Who Are The PFA and What Do they Do?
The PFA is a registered charity run voluntarily by parents, staff and friends of the School. We are a whole School inclusive committee so all parents are invited.
All profits made by the charity and donations given are used to fund quality resources, equipment and exciting events that advance the development of the pupils attending Ashford School and further enrich our children’s school experience.
The PFA would like to welcome our new committee members Nina Starr, Adam Russell, Annie Lovelidge and Sarah Navaratne. Thank you to all who showed interest in joining the PFA committee.

Fundraising and Events
There are so many opportunities to be involved with the PFA. The PFA run a full year of exciting fund-raising events for both parents, friends and children.
Some of the ongoing activities and events we are involved in and have hosted across the last year are:-
- Secondhand School Uniform Shop
- The PFA Coffee Box
- School Discos
- Christmas Fair
- Christmas Wreath Making
- End of Term Treats
Fund raising & Events
Last year the PFA have funded or contributed to:
- Bee keeping
- Bridge nursery – allotment project
- Food studies – Ninja double stack & airfryer
- Learning enhancement snug
- STEM investigation area
- Library books
- New reception sofas
- Nursery equipment
- Update of the Quad area of the Prep School (pre-prep childrens’ playground)
We do hope you and your children have enjoyed some of these items that are now in use at both Schools.
We couldn’t offer these wonderful items without your kind donations and your offers to volunteer to help at our fundraising events. We truly appreciate.
