Welcome to Ashford School. We educate nearly 800 boys and girls from 3 months to 18 years. Ashford School is three schools in one: a baby unit at Bridge House; a junior school at Ashford Friars Prep School in Great Chart and the senior school in the town centre. 

Whatever their starting point at Ashford School our pupils are expected to work hard, go to university and change the world. Expert teaching, individual care, strong leadership, lively co-curricular activities and a wealth of academic opportunities all assist them in this adventure and ensure they move on from Ashford School as articulate, confident and fluent young people with outstanding social and cultural skills and a secure moral framework.

An HMC and IAPS independent, day and boarding school set across two spacious, green campuses in Ashford, Kent, the Senior School is within five minutes walk of Ashford International Station and the Prep School is in the delightful village of Great Chart just two miles west of Ashford.

We operate a free shuttle service between the Prep and Senior Schools and bus services to the Cranbrook area, Tenterden, Sittingbourne, Kings Hill, Faversham, the Dover area and Hythe. The London airports; Heathrow, Gatwick, City and Stansted, are all within easy reach. We are 37 minutes from London via the High Speed 1 rail link and also benefit from rapid access to Paris, Lyon, Brussels, Amsterdam, Cologne and Frankfurt on Eurostar. With easy access to junctions 9 & 10 of the M20 as well as local train services to Hastings, Rye, Sturry, Canterbury, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Kings Hill, Dover and Folkstone, our central location and easy accessibility provides an ideally located school whether you live in the UK or anywhere across the globe.
